TOUR GUIDELINES

• Submissions and Membership: Composers may submit to any open call. Membership in both Sounds New and NACUSA National is required for programming.

• Concert Format and Costs: These are community-based concerts, open to the public and presented by a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. To minimize operating costs, we utilize public spaces such as universities, churches, and public libraries. Concerts are not ticketed. Some performers may request a stipend for the preparation and presentation of their works.

• Licensing: All concerts are fully licensed through ASCAP and BMI.

• Submission and Participation: Use the buttons on the left to access the score submission forms. Composer attendance is required. Composers may also submit to present their own works, either as performers or in collaboration with their own performers.

• Open Calls: All calls remain open until filled. Additional events may be added when demand is sufficient.

• Tour Presentation: Events are hosted by David Peoples, who will tour with a three-octave Alesis Vortex 2 MIDI controller connected to Logic Pro.
