You are invited to attend a compelling series of concerts featuring innovative new music by members of the Sounds New and Mid-South chapters of the National Association of Composers, USA (NACUSA). This six-day regional tour presents a rich and diverse program of works by living composers, offering audiences a unique opportunity to engage with the vibrant landscape of contemporary classical music.
Spanning four states—Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, and Tennessee—each concert will showcase original compositions performed live. All concerts are free of charge and open to the public. Whether you're a dedicated supporter of new music or simply curious to experience something fresh and thought-provoking, we invite you to join us in celebrating the voices shaping the future of concert music.
Attention NACUSA Members: Submission Deadline – Before June 16
All members interested in participating in the upcoming concert tour must submit the program materials for each work.
maximum 8 minutes per work and not exceeding 16 minutes in total
DUE before JUNE 16
Submit program materials for each composition
Programming selection priority: (1) filled with participants presenting on all concerts, (2) those who are only presenting on select venues, (3) additional space to fill
We may close this call if space is filled (some of these performances have limited available time)
What to Submit: Program Materials
Your name
Short Bio or Website (n.b. not all programs will list all program/bio notes)
and for each work to be submitted:
Title of the work
Composer’s name
Movement titles (if applicable)
List of performers - Name, instrument
Brief program notes
Stable and accessible link to fixed media (for electronic or acoustic with electronic compositions)
Composition duration

If you are only available for selected concert dates, you may still submit for individual events. Please note that priority will be given to members committed to the full tour.
